Kellen “Bobo” Jones ’08 Memorial Scholarship
A $500 scholarship (per recipient) will be awarded to one male and one female BHS student athlete in their senior year that exhibit the characteristics and attributes that made Kellen Jones a successful athlete, teammate and Ballard Beaver. This scholarship may be used for any post high school vocational training, community college or four-year college.
Athletics helped Kellen build his confidence, develop leadership skills, understand the value of the team (family), the experience of others and to build honor. The focus he learned on the field and track helped him in school. He valued all of the sports BHS offered and was a frequent spectator as well as a participant. He valued his peers. Kellen also valued and applauded hard work.
