The Ballard High School Athletic Booster Club (ABC) is a volunteer group working together to support, promote, and advocate for all BHS athletes. Quality athletic programs enrich the high school educational experience. Our focus is on programs that benefit all BHS athletes, and we are especially interested in promoting school-wide community and helping remove barriers to play.

Every month, our board meetings alternate between online and in-person (BHS Staff Lounge). Everyone is welcome to join; your voice and participation are encouraged. Meetings include ABC Board and Beaver Gear updates, fundraiser and grant info, volunteer opportunities, BHS Team and Athletic Director reports.

WINTER SPORTS NIGHT
November 25 - Winter Athletics Parents and Guardians: You’re warmly invited to join the Winter Sports Night information session at 6:30 p.m. in the Main Gym. Hear important updates from Athletic Director Eric Ensign, learn more about our Athletic Booster Club mission, and meet your student’s coaches, Athletic Trainer Loka Murphy, and the Strength & Conditioning team too! Most teams will have a breakout session, so you can get all your questions answered and meet other BHS supporters. Our Beaver Gear team will be there, if you need to purchase some new BHS fan apparel to keep you toasty while cheering. We look forward to seeing you there!
WINTER TRIVIA NIGHT
February 4 - Join the fun at the Ballard Elks for the Athletic Booster Club’s Trivia Night on Wednesday, February 4! Build your team of six through January 20 for an “Early Beaver” rate of $120, or $20/per player.* Your registration fee is a tax-deductible donation to the Athletic Booster Club to further our mission to support quality athletics at Ballard High School. The coaches’ team always comes to play too! Don’t have a trivia team yet but still want to join the fun? We’ll find you a group to play with! Doors open at 6 p.m., first trivia round is at 7 p.m. Dinner, Beaver Gear, and beverages available for purchase. Tables go fast so make sure you can get your team in on the action. Register your table or seat today!
*On January 21, 2026, the price will go up to $25/player or $150/table for six players. (Students are welcome to join the fun too!)
BHS duffle bag sALE
The Ballard Athletic Booster Club's Duffle Bag Fundraiser is back again! All bags are custom-ordered and come in standard (11" x 22") or tiny-sized (6" by 10"), include shoulder straps, and can be personalized for an additional fee. The Beaver Gear team will let you know when your order is ready for pick up in the school office. All sales benefit BHS Athletics. Orders arrive about 8 weeks after the sales window close date. (Fall 2025 sale orders have arrived, email bhsabcgear@gmail.com if you have questions about your order.)

Team Grants
We partner with teams to ensure all interested students have access to play and participate. We also fund equipment and other items through team grants.
Community Building
In the recent past, the ABC has been sponsored by generous community partners, including the Ballard High School Foundation, Ballard SeafoodFest, Rough & Tumble Pub, and Wheelie Pop Brewing. You can also find our members, athletes, and coaches having fun at the Running of the Beavers 5K, Trivia Night at the Ballard Elks Club, and other local community events.
