The Ballard High School Athletic Booster Club (ABC) is a volunteer group working together to support, promote, and advocate for all BHS athletes. Quality athletic programs enrich the high school educational experience. Our focus is on programs that benefit all BHS athletes, and we are especially interested in promoting school-wide community and helping remove barriers to play.

Website Editor (An hour or so a week to help our athletes shine! Easy Squarespace web designer, no need to be an html guru.)
Beaver Gear Apprentice. One of our team members is graduating this spring and we’re looking for a representative with a younger student(s) to fill this role for multiple years. Few “live” sales events per year plus assisting with online sales and duffel bag sales. ABC provides additional volunteer support (as needed) during busy in-person sales events.

Thanks for helping us sell out the Spring Athletic Booster Club Trivia Night on Wednesday, April 30! Your registration fee is a tax-deductible donation to the Athletic Booster Club to further our mission to support quality athletics at Ballard High School. The coaches’ team always comes to play too! Doors open at 6 p.m., first trivia round is at 7 p.m.

Beaver Gear Duffle Bag Sales
Thanks to all who purchased a duffle bag during our last sale of the school year. The Beaver Gear team offers custom-ordered duffel bags at two different sales windows during the school year (fall and winter). The bags come in standard (11" x 22") or tiny-sized (6" by 10"), include shoulder straps, and can be personalized for an additional fee. Did you order a bag for the Winter Sale? A Beaver Gear representative will let you know when your order is ready for pick up in the school’s Main Office (about 4-6 weeks after the January 30 sales window end date). All sales support BHS Athletics!

Team Grants
We partner with teams to ensure all interested students have access to play and participate. We also fund equipment and other items through team grants.
Community Building
In the recent past, the ABC has been sponsored by generous community partners, including the Ballard High School Foundation, Ballard SeafoodFest, Rough & Tumble Pub, and Wheelie Pop Brewing. You can also find our members, athletes, and coaches having fun at the Running of the Beavers 5K, Trivia Night at the Ballard Elks Club, and other local community events.
